CHARLIE BROWN
Meet my new trail buddie...
Charlie Brown is a 15.3hh gelding listed as a Spotted Saddle Tennesse Walking Horse. I looked this up and it appears that the Spotted Saddle is listed as a separate breed. If anyone knows different, please let me know. He is not registered, but that does not matter to me. Just curious.
You asked for pictures so here they are in full color beauty. Charlie Brown will become a permanent addition to my family 25 August 2008 when I pick up and deliver him to the barn I board at in Nokesville, Virginia.
Thanks to Karin, my barn manager, for all of her help and support during this time of loss and gain. Thank you very much.
And a special thanks to my mom. I would have never found Charlie Brown if you had not moved me towards Wesley and his horses. Hugs momma!
All pictures from 15 and 19 August 2008
Am I not a handsome man? This was my first meeting with Charlie Brown.

Still trying to get used to that long Saddle Horse face and tipped ears

Take a look at Charlie Brown's toes. The daughter got a hold of him the night before and painted them with Twinkle Toes sparkle polish. Pretty...

A better picture of Charlie Brown. This was during the prepurchase exam.

And now the other side. Still a handsome man.

Charlie Brown really does have some beautiful markings.
He's a dirty boy here, but you can tell the difference between dirt and his real markings.

Moving around so the vet can check for lameness. I am loving the knee action.

That is the look of a horse asking, "What do you want from me?" after being poked and prodded by the vet for the past half hour. Still not a mean bone in his body. |
